Farewell Mrs Glascott

As you know it is Mr Glascott's (Head of Secondary and High School) last day at TES today. He leaves to take up a new position in Australia. This also means the lovely Mrs Glascott will no longer be teaching part-time in Year One and Year Five.
We had a special farewell assembly for her yesterday and also said good bye to our students Min Seo (Y3), Rui Feng (Y4) and Jae Won (Y5).

Mrs Sharon Whitfield will be replacing Mrs Glascott in Y5 next term.

Christmas Assembly

This morning children from British Infants, the German Section and the French Section joined us for a special assembly. Each section sang a song or two from our respective shows and we all joined in to sing a few favourites.

Anti-Cyber Bullying Widget Competion

Congratulations to Summer (Y3), Alex (Y4), Alice (Y5) and Daniel (Y6). Further information about the competition is available on class blogs. Thank you to Mrs hall and Mr Stebbing for organising the competition and to Ms Diana for all her work in getting the winning mouse mats made. They are now available to buy in the uniform shop for NT$150/each.

School Uniform
Please ensure that your child returns to school next term in the correct school uniform. Some children have been wearing trainers to school. Children are not allowed to wear non-school uniform cardigans or sweatshirts. If you need reminding about the requirements for school uniform then please contact the office for the list of correct items.

Academic Reports
Your child will bring home their first semester report today. There will be an opportunity to discuss the report with your child's class teacher on Thursday 16th January. If you have not yet made an appointment please contact the office.

School Photos
In the week beginning Monday 20th January, class and individual photos will be taken. We also help arrange photos of brothers and sisters together. Further information will be available next term when the class schedules have been arranged.

Non-uniform day Wednesday 29th January

We will be celebrating Chinese New Year at school with a special assembly. The children are asked to wear either a Chinese costume or something red (or both of course),
