Carnavale

Carnavale (also known as Mardi-Gras) is an event hosted by the French Section for all students in the primary campus. Please see the information below from the Head of the French section, Jean-Yves Vesseau, and check your child's class blog for further details.

Carnival season is upon us again and TES will celebrate in style on Tuesday March 4.

All students from the three sections  - infant and junior - will parade their fancy costumes around the junior playground starting at 8:30 am.

Parents will therefore be expected to make their way to the junior playground and take a seat on the stands. Of course, you're more than welcome to wear a fancy dress too and take part in the procession.

At the end of the procession, just after 9, we will all watch a Diabolo show (please note that you will have the possibility to buy diabolos once the students are back in class).

Children will go back to class at 9:15 where they will feverishly wait for the crepes cooked by the parents.
A huge thank you to all the parents involved!

In case of rain, the parade will be cancelled but your child can still come in his/her fancy dress and will get their crepe just the same.

I am looking forward to seeing you on March 4 for what promises to be an unforgettable Mardi Gras!
Jean-Yves Vesseau
